About Apple
Apple began in 1976, in a house in Los Altos, California, when Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne put their names to a company built around a single circuit board. Jobs and Wozniak incorporated it the following January. Fifty years later the founding habit is still the one that explains most of what Apple does: design the hardware and the software together, and the two fit in a way neither would on its own.
Most people meet Apple through the iPhone. Around it sits a family that now takes in iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods, Apple TV, HomePod and Apple Vision Pro, all of them built to work with each other rather than merely alongside.
The Mac has been through a complete change of engine. Every model runs on Apple silicon, the processors Apple designs itself, and the range covers the MacBook Neo, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro for people working away from a desk, and the iMac, Mac mini and Mac Studio for people at one. The Mac Pro was retired in March 2026, and the Mac Studio took its place at the top of the desktop line.
Services have become a business in their own right rather than an accessory to the hardware. The App Store, iCloud+, Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+, Apple News+, Apple Pay, Apple Card and AppleCare One all sit under that heading, and Apple One bundles several of them into one subscription.
Beats, acquired in 2014, still runs under its own name with its own headphones, earbuds and speakers.
Apple is headquartered at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, which opened to staff in April 2017, and employs more than 150,000 people.

iPhone 18 Pro Announced
Apple has announced nothing. No event date, no name, no price, no specification. Reports about a new chip and a new camera are leaks from supply chain sources and analysts. This page carries none of them, because Apple has confirmed none of them. The model this one would replace is the iPhone 17 Pro. Apple announced it on 9 September 2025. It has a 6.3 inch display and starts at $1,099 with 256GB of storage. The September window on this page rests on Apple's own record rather than on any leak. Apple has held an iPhone keynote in the first half of September in every year since 2012, with 2020 the one exception. Invitations usually go out about two weeks before. As of early August 2026, none had been sent.
iPhone 18 Pro Max Announced
There is no announcement. Apple has said nothing about this phone at all, so there is nothing here about its screen, its battery, its cameras or its price. What circulates instead are leaks, and this page does not treat leaks as facts. The current model is the iPhone 17 Pro Max, announced on 9 September 2025. It has a 6.9 inch display, the largest in the range, and starts at $1,199. The September window comes from Apple's own history. Every year since 2012, apart from 2020, Apple has held its iPhone keynote in the first half of September, then opened pre-orders a few days later and shipped about a week after that. Apple had not confirmed a date for this year's event as of early August 2026.

The laptop most people mean when they say they want a Mac. Thin, fanless and silent, in a smaller and a larger screen size.
MacBook Pro
The laptop for work that does not stop: video, code, music, anything that keeps the processor busy for hours. Two screen sizes, and the higher-tier chips that the Air does not offer.
