About OPPO

OPPO sells phones across the range, from budget handsets to folding flagships, and is strongest in China, South East Asia and India. Its most recognisable piece of engineering is charging: the VOOC fast-charging system has repeatedly shipped speeds ahead of what the rest of the market offered, and the technology is licensed to other manufacturers.

The range is organised around two lines. Find is the flagship, including the book-style folding Find N. Reno sits below it as the upper mid-range, where camera and design carry more weight than raw performance.

Two other well-known brands sit under OPPO. OnePlus was founded in 2013 by a former OPPO vice president and is reported as an OPPO subsidiary. realme, founded in 2018 by another former OPPO executive, returned to OPPO as a sub-brand in January 2026. Both keep their own identities, their own audiences and their own product lines.

The company was founded in 2004 in Dongguan, Guangdong by Chen Mingyong, also known as Tony Chen, and is still headquartered there. It is widely reported to belong to the same group as vivo, under the BBK Electronics name; the two operate as distinct businesses, and the exact corporate relationship above them is not publicly established.

Products (14)

Find X

The flagship bar phone: newest silicon, the most capable cameras and the fastest charging OPPO ships.

Find N

The folding line, notable for pushing hinge design and closed-shut thickness.

OPPO Find X10 Series Expected

OPPO has made no announcement about a Find X10. There is a lot of talk about its cameras, chip and battery, and all of it comes from leaks. A Find X10 has also been reported as clearing a regulatory certification, which shows hardware is in the pipeline but is not an OPPO statement about a product. No specification, price or date is recorded here. The current line is the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. OPPO confirmed and held the China launch on 16 October 2025, then took the phones global at a Barcelona event on 28 October 2025 alongside ColorOS 16. The pattern is the clearest of any line here. OPPO launched the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro on 30 October 2024, and the Find X9 on 16 October 2025, both in China first with a global event following within weeks. Two straight years of an October China launch is why a second half of 2026 window is given, and why no tighter date is.

Reno Series

The main mid-range line, refreshed frequently and sold widely across Asia and Europe.

OPPO Reno17 Series Expected

No Reno17 has been announced. OPPO has not named it, dated it or shown it. Nothing about its hardware is recorded here for that reason. The current generation is the Reno16 and Reno16 Pro. OPPO confirmed a China launch event for 25 May 2026, then announced a global rollout starting 25 June 2026 in Thailand and Spain, with other markets following through July. The line uses OPPO's 3D Pop Planet design, and OPPO named the group BABYMONSTER as its Reno ambassador in selected markets. The cadence is the reason a late 2026 window is given. OPPO introduced the Reno13 on 25 November 2024, the Reno14 in May 2025, the Reno15 on 10 November 2025, and the Reno16 on 25 May 2026. That is a new Reno about every six months, with the second wave of each year landing in November. On that record a late 2026 Reno is a fair expectation, and any tighter claim would be invention.

OnePlus 16 Announced

This one sits in between. OnePlus has confirmed the phone exists. Liu Baoyu, general manager of OnePlus China, said so at the Snapdragon Gaming Technology Awards 2026, and OnePlus has since put out a first teaser for it. What OnePlus has not done is hold a launch event, set a date, publish a product page or state the hardware. So no specification, price or firm date is recorded here. The window comes from OnePlus itself rather than from guesswork. The company has said the OnePlus 16 arrives in the second half of 2026. Press reports point at October in China, but that part is a leak and is not treated as fact here. One thing every buyer should know before the page loads any further. OnePlus confirmed in mid 2026 that it is ending product rollouts in Europe and North America. The OnePlus 16 is not planned for sale in those regions. If you are shopping from the US, the UK or the EU, this phone will not be sold to you through official channels. The current generation is the OnePlus 15, which launched in October 2025 and is the last OnePlus flagship sold in the exiting markets.

OnePlus Nord 7 Expected

There is no OnePlus Nord 7 announcement. OnePlus has not named it, dated it or described it, and no specification or price is recorded here. The current model is the OnePlus Nord 6. OnePlus teased it in March 2026 and unveiled it on 7 April 2026 in India, with sales starting on 9 April. It has a 6.78 inch 165Hz OLED screen and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. OnePlus followed it with the cheaper Nord CE6 and Nord CE6 Lite in May 2026. Battery figures for the Nord 6 differ between outlets, so none is recorded. No window is given, and the reason is specific. Every Nord phone from the line's 2020 debut through the Nord 5 was unveiled in July of its year. The Nord 5 arrived on 8 July 2025 and the Nord 4 in mid 2024. The Nord 6 then landed in April 2026, three months early, which broke the one thing that was predictable about this line. Until a second data point shows where the schedule has settled, picking a month would be a guess. One further point worth knowing. OnePlus has confirmed it is ending product rollouts in Europe and North America, so future Nord phones are not expected to be sold there.

realme GT

The performance line, carrying flagship silicon at mid-range prices.

A Series

Entry-level and lower mid-range phones, typically sold on battery life and durability.

OnePlus Series

The flagship line, and the one the brand was built on: top-end silicon, high refresh displays and very fast charging.
