Software Development Companies in Morocco & Casablanca (2026): 5 Verified Firms

If you are comparing software development companies in Morocco, start with delivery fit rather than a generic “top 10” ranking. Morocco has local studios, nearshore engineering teams and larger consulting firms, but a Casablanca or Rabat address does not automatically tell you who will actually write, test and operate your software.

This 2026 Brandligo shortlist focuses on five firms with current evidence of Morocco-based operations and active software-engineering services. It is a procurement comparison, not a first-to-fifth ranking. For a broader market view, see Top Software Development Companies in 2026. For the selection process itself, use our software development company buyer guide.

Quick comparison: Morocco software development firms

  • Devoteam Maroc — better suited to larger enterprise, cloud, data, DevOps and full-stack transformation programs.
  • Digitalia — Casablanca-based custom software, AI, cloud and data delivery.
  • RMG Solutions — Rabat-based custom web, API, mobile and business-system development.
  • Kaishift — Casablanca custom software studio emphasizing delivery inside the buyer’s repository and cloud environment.
  • Ascii-Core — Casablanca engineering studio focused on AI systems, web/mobile applications and business automation.

The right choice depends on scope, delivery model, security requirements, language needs, team location and how much architecture or product ownership you expect the vendor to carry.

1. Devoteam Maroc

Devoteam Maroc is part of the wider Devoteam consulting group and has active engineering and consulting operations in Morocco. Current Morocco roles cover areas including full-stack development, cloud, data, DevOps, low-code and automation, with positions in Casablanca and Rabat.

Best fit: larger organizations that need enterprise consulting plus implementation, especially when software development is part of a broader cloud, data, platform or transformation program.

Verify before hiring: which team will deliver the project, whether delivery is Morocco-based or distributed, named engineering roles, subcontracting, platform/vendor dependencies, and who owns ongoing architecture and operations after handover.

2. Digitalia

Digitalia describes itself as a technology group born in Casablanca and currently offers custom software development, AI and machine learning, cloud, data and IT consulting services.

Best fit: organizations looking for one supplier across custom application development and adjacent data, AI or cloud work.

Verify before hiring: the seniority and location of the proposed engineers, whether specialist functions are in-house, how production support is priced, repository ownership, cloud-account ownership and how third-party services are documented.

3. RMG Solutions

RMG Solutions currently markets custom software development from Morocco, including web applications, APIs, integrations, mobile solutions and business-intelligence tools. Its current service page identifies a Rabat-based development team.

Best fit: companies that need business applications, integrations or mobile/web systems with a Morocco-based delivery option.

Verify before hiring: exact project-team composition, security controls that apply to your workload, source-code and documentation handover, maintenance terms, response times and any hosting or infrastructure commitments.

4. Kaishift

Kaishift is a Casablanca-based custom software agency. Its current development proposition emphasizes building in the customer’s repository and cloud environment, with backend, frontend, data and deployment handled as one delivery stream.

Best fit: buyers who value direct control over repositories, deployment accounts and technical handover rather than receiving a black-box hosted product.

Verify before hiring: acceptance criteria, architecture decision records, test coverage, CI/CD responsibility, warranty period, ongoing support, intellectual-property terms and how access is revoked at project end.

5. Ascii-Core

Ascii-Core describes itself as a Casablanca engineering studio building AI systems, web applications, mobile apps and business automation for Moroccan and international clients.

Best fit: smaller or mid-sized product builds where AI integration, automation, web/mobile engineering or an MVP-style delivery model is central.

Verify before hiring: which claims apply to the exact team assigned to your project, model/provider choices for AI work, data sent to external AI services, production support, observability, mobile-store ownership and how the solution will be transferred if you change vendors.

Casablanca office vs actual engineering location

Do not treat a Casablanca office as proof that every engineer is in Casablanca. A company may have local sales, consulting or management while engineering is split across Morocco or other countries. That can still be a good model, but it should be explicit before contract signature.

Ask vendors to provide the proposed team by role, seniority, employment status and working location. If on-site work matters, specify the required days and roles in the statement of work rather than relying on the office address.

How to compare proposals without inventing a “Morocco hourly rate”

There is no single defensible hourly rate for software development in Morocco. A senior architecture-heavy engagement, a small mobile build and a distributed maintenance team are not comparable products.

Compare bids on the same scope and include:

  • named roles, seniority and expected allocation;
  • discovery, architecture and UX work;
  • QA, security testing and release responsibility;
  • cloud, DevOps and third-party service costs;
  • source-code, repository and infrastructure ownership;
  • change-control rules and acceptance criteria;
  • warranty, support and SLA terms;
  • exit, documentation and knowledge-transfer obligations.

The cheapest initial quote can become the most expensive option if it excludes testing, operations, migration, security or handover.

Morocco data-protection checks for software projects

Morocco’s Law 09-08 governs protection of individuals in relation to personal-data processing, and the CNDP is the national authority responsible for personal-data protection. CNDP procedures also cover declarations, prior authorizations and requests involving transfers abroad.

For a software-development contract, identify who is the controller and processor, what production data developers can access, where hosting and backups are located, which subprocessors are involved, whether developers outside Morocco can access data, and what happens to copies of data after the engagement ends.

For AI-enabled software, add a specific review of whether source code, prompts, documents or personal data are sent to external model providers. CNDP has explicitly stated that AI processing involving personal data remains subject to Law 09-08.

Public-sector software procurement in Morocco

Morocco operates the official Portail Marocain des Marchés Publics, a common platform for public buyers and suppliers. The portal publishes consultations, results, procurement documentation and categories that include IT and telecommunications services and computer/software supplies.

A Morocco office does not by itself establish eligibility for a public contract. Buyers and suppliers should check the individual tender’s qualification, submission, digital-signature, security, financial and technical requirements.

Questions to ask before signing

  • Who are the named engineers and where will they work?
  • Are they employees, contractors or subcontractors?
  • Who owns architecture decisions, QA, DevOps and release management?
  • Will the code live in our repository from the start?
  • Who controls cloud, app-store, domain and third-party accounts?
  • What personal or production data can developers access?
  • Which AI tools can receive our code or data?
  • How are scope changes priced and approved?
  • What happens during warranty, support and incident response?
  • What documentation and knowledge transfer do we receive at exit?

Bottom line

For buyers comparing software development companies in Morocco or Casablanca, the most useful distinction is not a generic rank. It is the fit between your project and the vendor’s actual delivery model. Devoteam Maroc is oriented toward larger consulting-led programs; Digitalia spans custom software with AI, cloud and data; RMG Solutions focuses on custom applications and integrations; Kaishift emphasizes buyer-controlled repositories and cloud accounts; and Ascii-Core targets AI, automation and product engineering from Casablanca.

Shortlist two or three firms that match the delivery model you need, then compare the same scope, team structure, security requirements and handover terms before making a decision.
