1. Move the projector closer to the screen

2. Use optical zoom when your projector has it

3. Use digital zoom only when needed

Some projectors provide a menu control labeled Digital Zoom, Image Scaling, Zoom & Shift, Screen Fit or a similar name. This can make the visible image smaller without physically moving the projector.

The trade-off is that digital scaling does not use the full projected pixel area in the same way as an optical adjustment. Do not use aspect ratio to solve a screen-size problem

Switching aspect ratios may make one dimension look smaller, but it can also create black bars, crop content or distort how the source is displayed. Set the aspect ratio to match the content and display format rather than using it as a substitute for proper projector placement or zoom.

Keystone correction is for shape, not primary sizing

Keystone correction digitally reshapes a trapezoidal image when the projector is angled relative to the screen. It can make the visible rectangle smaller as a side effect, but that does not make it the best sizing method. Heavy digital correction can reduce effective image detail.
