Epson rates the projector at 16,000 lumens of equal white and color brightness in Normal light source mode. That output is intended for large screens and spaces with meaningful ambient light, but buyers should still size brightness around screen dimensions, surface, throw distance and room conditions rather than relying on the lumen figure alone.

The imaging system supports HDR, frame interpolation and scene adaptive gamma correction.
