Updated August 31, 2026. If you are comparing software development companies in Thailand, start with the type of delivery you actually need: end-to-end digital product development, enterprise systems, team augmentation, web/mobile engineering, or a local software partner for a Thailand-specific operation.
This BrandLigo guide compares five firms with current, verifiable Thailand or Bangkok operations. It is a procurement shortlist, not a first-to-fifth ranking. We removed the legacy 2024 article’s unsupported executive names, revenue figures, employee counts, client claims and companies that were primarily distributors, semiconductor vendors or unrelated IT businesses.
For a broader international shortlist, see BrandLigo’s Top Software Development Companies in 2026. Before contacting any vendor, use our software development company selection framework to define scope, team requirements, security, ownership, commercial terms and exit expectations.

Important: These descriptions summarize what each provider currently presents publicly. They do not guarantee that a particular team, certification, specialist or delivery model will be available for your project. Verify the proposed people and contract before buying.
1. Seven Peaks Software — digital product and custom software delivery
Seven Peaks presents itself as a Thailand software-development partner covering custom software, web applications, mobile applications, cloud solutions, QA and UX/UI. Its current project material also shows work spanning connected products, enterprise workflows and AI-enabled platforms.
Buyer fit: organizations that want a cross-functional product and engineering partner rather than only additional developers.
Verify before hiring: which engineers are assigned to your project, where they work, who owns architecture and product decisions, what testing is included, and whether specialist cloud or AI work uses subcontractors or other delivery locations.
2. Aware — custom software and systems integration
Aware currently offers custom software development, business applications, systems integration, data and cloud-related services from Thailand, with offices including Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Its service mix is broader than a small app studio, so buyers should evaluate it as an enterprise technology provider as well as a custom-development option.
Buyer fit: companies combining new software with integration, existing infrastructure, enterprise systems or longer-term technology operations.
Verify before hiring: which Aware entity will contract with you, the exact delivery team, whether the work is custom engineering or implementation of an existing platform, source-code ownership, production support boundaries and the location of any outsourced resources.

3. Nimble — product-led web and mobile engineering
Nimble lists its Thailand head office in Bangkok and currently provides web development, mobile development, product design, product management and technical product work. Its public engineering material covers technologies and practices for modern web and mobile products rather than positioning the company as a generic IT reseller.
Buyer fit: startups, product teams and enterprises that want design, product management and engineering delivered together.
Verify before hiring: meet the proposed product and engineering leads, confirm how many people are assigned at each stage, ask which testing activities are included by default, define repository and cloud-account ownership, and clarify support after the first production release.

4. CODEMONDAY — enterprise systems and integration
CODEMONDAY currently operates from Bangkok and presents enterprise custom software covering web and mobile applications, core APIs and back-end systems, integration, AI workflows and consulting. Its public portfolio includes complex financial and enterprise systems, but buyers should independently validate which references are comparable to their own scope.
Buyer fit: organizations building business-critical systems, integrations, fintech workflows or applications with significant back-end and operational requirements.
Verify before hiring: architecture and security responsibilities, availability of the named senior team, uptime/support commitments, disaster-recovery responsibilities, acceptance criteria and whether any claimed compliance or certification applies to the contracted delivery scope.
5. Outsourcify — Bangkok web and mobile product development
Outsourcify operates from Bangkok and currently describes an in-house team working across web and mobile applications, UX/UI, e-commerce, APIs and ongoing development. Its technology material includes modern JavaScript frameworks, PHP, Python and mobile technologies.
Buyer fit: SMEs, startups and organizations that need a Bangkok-based web/mobile development partner with design and application-delivery capability.
Verify before hiring: which technologies are proposed and why, the seniority of the assigned engineers, QA coverage, whether hosting or managed services are optional or bundled, licensing of reusable components, and the handover process if another vendor takes over later.

Bangkok office does not always mean Bangkok engineering
Thailand and Bangkok searches often mix local software houses with regional consultancies, global providers and distributed teams. A Bangkok address can be valuable for workshops, local contracting and time-zone overlap, but it does not prove that every engineer is based in Thailand.
Ask each finalist to name the project roles, employment model and working location. If local delivery matters, put the requirement in the RFP and contract. If distributed delivery is acceptable, compare how the vendor manages handoffs, access control, support coverage and communication across locations.
How Thailand’s PDPA affects software procurement
Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) matters when a software vendor can access personal data, production databases, logs, support records or other information covered by the law. Do not simplify this into a blanket claim that all data must remain inside Thailand. Cross-border transfers have their own requirements and safeguards, and the correct treatment depends on the data, parties and transfer mechanism.
Before development starts, document who acts as controller or processor, what personal data developers can access, where production and backups are hosted, which subprocessors or cloud services are used, who can access production from outside Thailand, how incidents are reported, and whether AI coding or model providers can receive source code or customer information.
Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee has issued rules covering cross-border personal-data transfers under Sections 28 and 29 of the PDPA. For legal interpretation or a regulated project, involve qualified Thai privacy counsel rather than relying on a vendor’s marketing statement.

Public-sector software procurement in Thailand
Government software procurement has different requirements from a normal private-sector purchase. Thailand uses the Comptroller General’s Department electronic government procurement system, commonly known as e-GP. Tender-specific registration, eligibility, security, documentation, bid guarantees or contract conditions should be checked against the actual procurement notice.
A Bangkok office or a well-known client list does not by itself establish eligibility for a government contract. Buyers and vendors should verify the current e-GP requirements and the contracting agency’s terms before relying on a provider’s public-sector experience.

Compare total delivery risk, not a generic Thailand hourly rate
Country-level rate tables are a poor way to choose a software company. Two vendors can quote similar hourly prices while including very different levels of discovery, architecture, QA, security, DevOps, product management and support.
Give every shortlisted vendor the same project brief and compare:
- Team: named people, seniority, allocation, employee vs subcontractor status and working location.
- Scope: assumptions, exclusions, integrations, non-functional requirements and client responsibilities.
- Quality: code review, automated testing, manual QA, performance and security testing.
- Security: credentials, production access, secrets, device controls, dependency risk and incident handling.
- AI governance: which tools may process your code, prompts or business data and what human review applies.
- Ownership: source code, designs, documentation, data, cloud accounts, deployment assets and pre-existing vendor IP.
- Commercial terms: fixed price, time and materials, dedicated team, discovery fees, change control and third-party costs.
- Operations: deployment, monitoring, warranty fixes, production support, SLAs and long-term maintenance.
- Exit: repository access, credentials, documentation, knowledge transfer and transition assistance.
Questions to ask a Thailand software-development company
- Can we meet the engineers and technical lead who would work on our project?
- Where will each project role be based?
- Which similar projects can you discuss with references?
- What is explicitly excluded from the proposal?
- Who owns the repository, cloud accounts and production credentials?
- Which third-party or reusable components will remain vendor-owned or separately licensed?
- How are security, PDPA obligations and cross-border access handled?
- Which AI development tools are allowed to interact with our code or data?
- What testing evidence is required before a release is accepted?
- What support and handover are included if we change providers?
Bottom line
There is no universal “best” software development company in Thailand. Seven Peaks and Nimble are worth investigating for product-led digital delivery; Aware fits broader enterprise and integration shortlists; CODEMONDAY is relevant to enterprise systems and complex back-end work; and Outsourcify can fit web/mobile product engagements where Bangkok-based collaboration is useful.
Shortlist by project fit, then verify the actual team, engineering location, references, security, PDPA handling, ownership, support and exit terms. Those checks are more useful to a buyer than a promotional top-10 ranking or an unverified country-level price table.
