There is no announcement. iQOO has not confirmed the iQOO 16, its date, its chip or its price. Everything circulating about an 8,500mAh battery, a Snapdragon part or a 2K screen comes from leaks, and this page will not repeat any of it as fact. The current phone is the iQOO 15. iQOO confirmed a 20 October 2025 launch event in Shenzhen, where the phone appeared alongside the iQOO Pad 5e, the iQOO Watch GT 2 and the iQOO TWS 5 earphones. iQOO India then said the phone would reach India in November 2025. On the name, iQOO skips 14, so 16 follows 15. On timing, the iQOO 15 landed in October 2025 as the successor to the iQOO 13 from the year before, and reports place the iQOO 16 in September or October 2026. Two autumn launches in a row is the whole basis for the late 2026 window here.
