Uno Wallet is a wallet app for the iPhone that decides which card to pay with. Anybody carrying more than two cards is leaving something on the table on most purchases, because the card that earns most depends on where you are standing, and nobody works that out at a card reader with a queue behind them.
Uno does that part. It picks the card that earns the most for the purchase in front of you, so the points, miles or cash back accumulate without anyone thinking about it.
The company was founded in 2026 by Saket Joshi and Mordi Shadpour, who met at a startup event in 2023 over a shared interest in fintech. It went through Y Combinator's Spring 2026 batch and is based in San Francisco.
At a glance
What this company states about how it works. Figures carrying a source were checked
against the page they link to; the rest are the company's own.
It picks which of your credit cards to pay with at the moment you pay, so you earn the most points, miles or cash back the purchase allows without thinking about it.
Why would that need an app?
Because the best card changes with the category, the merchant and whatever promotion is running that quarter. It is a small calculation nobody does standing at a card reader, and it is worth real money over a year.
When was Uno Wallet founded, and where is it based?
Founded in 2026 by Saket Joshi and Mordi Shadpour, based in San Francisco, and part of Y Combinator's Spring 2026 batch.
