About SmartTill
SmartTill is a cloud point of sale system from Devsinc, listed on its site as its Retail Management System. It is built for shops that sell both in store and online, with two-way Shopify sync, stock tracked per location and a loyalty programme built in. It covers single-counter shops, multi-till stores, multi-outlet chains and franchises, and its prices are set in Pakistani rupees.
What does the till itself do?
The basics are covered: barcode scanning, cash and card payments, split tenders, and hold and recall for orders that get paused at the counter. It can be run entirely from the keyboard, which matters on a busy till where reaching for a mouse slows every sale. Cashier sessions are managed with reconciliation at the end of a shift.
On hardware, it prints to 58mm and 80mm thermal receipt printers and works with USB barcode scanners. No proprietary hardware is needed. You can run it in a browser or through native desktop apps for Windows and macOS.
How does the Shopify sync work?
SmartTill syncs both ways with Shopify: products, variants, prices, inventory, orders and customers. A change made in the shop shows up online, and an online order updates stock in the shop.
That sync is what makes the omnichannel flows possible. Buyers can order online and pick up in store, a store can ship online orders from its own stock, and returns can be handled in store for something bought online, or the other way round.
Inventory and loyalty
Stock is tracked in real time for each location, with low-stock alerts and transfers between stores. The product catalogue is unlimited and supports variants such as sizes and colours.
The loyalty programme awards points on every sale, whether it happens online or in store. Coupons are validated at checkout, customers can be grouped into VIP segments, and each customer's purchase history is kept.
Reporting and tax
Reports cover sales, products and staff performance, and export to Excel, CSV or PDF. SmartTill handles GST reporting automatically and supports multiple tax rates, which is useful for shops selling goods taxed at different rates.
Does it work when the internet drops?
Yes, through the desktop app. It keeps processing sales offline and syncs automatically once the connection returns. The browser version needs a connection, so shops with unreliable internet should run the desktop app at the till.
How much does SmartTill cost?
As listed on Devsinc's site in October 2026, plans are billed quarterly in Pakistani rupees. Starter is PKR 7,500 a quarter, about PKR 2,500 a month, for one till with the basic POS, receipts and cash and card payments. Business is PKR 13,500 a quarter, about PKR 4,500 a month, for three tills and adds Shopify sync, loyalty and analytics. Enterprise is priced on request and covers unlimited tills, multiple outlets, API access and dedicated support.
There are no setup fees, you can cancel at any time, and cloud backups and updates are included. Devsinc says its team handles data migration and that setup takes hours rather than weeks.
Who should choose something else?
Shopify Sync is one of the main reasons to pick SmartTill, so a shop that does not sell on Shopify gives up a large part of what it offers. Shopify merchants should also compare it with Shopify's own POS before deciding.
Businesses outside Pakistan may find rupee pricing and the GST reporting less of a fit than a system built for their own tax rules.
And a large chain with existing ERP and warehouse systems should check the Enterprise plan's API access carefully before switching, since the POS will need to talk to more than Shopify.
