About Asimov
Asimov collects the data humanoid robots learn from. Robotics labs need enormous amounts of footage of people doing ordinary physical work, and there is no archive of it, because nobody was filming themselves loading a dishwasher from their own point of view. So Asimov pays households and businesses to record it. Contributors wear hardware and go about their day in kitchens, restaurants, hotels and factories, and what comes back is organic footage of real tasks rather than staged demonstrations in a lab. The company was founded by Anshul Verma and Lyem Ningthou and went through Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch. It is based in Berkeley, California.
