Ada
Ada automates enterprise customer service across messaging, voice and email. Its founders built it after their previous company drowned in support tickets.
About Ada
Ada automates customer service for large companies, handling enquiries across messaging, voice and email without a person picking each one up. The pitch is the one every company in this category makes - quality of service should not have to scale linearly with headcount - but Ada's founders arrived at it from an unusually direct route. Mike Murchison and David Hariri had been running a previous company, Volley Industries, and were doing its customer support themselves. As it grew they could not answer fast enough, and the thing that was breaking the business became the next one. Ada was founded in Toronto in 2016 and is still based there. It has raised around USD 200 million, with Accel, Bessemer Venture Partners and Spark Capital among its investors.
