This one is official. Redmi posted on its own Weibo account that the K100 Pro series launches in China on 11 August 2026 at 19:00 local time. Ahead of that, Redmi put the phones on public display at ChinaJoy 2026 in Shanghai on 31 July, and published official renders of the K100 Pro Max in a Cabernet Red finish. Redmi has confirmed some of the hardware itself rather than leaving it to leaks. The K100 Pro Max has a flat 6.9 inch display with very narrow bezels, running at 2K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate on M11 AMOLED material, with peak brightness quoted at 4,500 nits. It pairs a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with a separate D2 display chip. The design includes a colour matched metal frame, an integrated rear camera island, and a ring of light around the cameras that can pulse with music, calls, notifications and Xiaomi's AI assistant. Xiaomi president Lu Weibing has said publicly that the K100 Pro will sit around the CNY 4,000 mark, and that the plain K100 has been held back rather than cancelled. So the launch event covers the Pro and Pro Max first. Camera hardware and battery size are still only rumoured, so nothing on those is recorded here. Note also that POCO has historically sold rebadged Redmi K series phones globally, which is why POCO F9 hardware keeps appearing in the same reports.

Part of the Redmi Series line, which is on sale now.
