vivo has now confirmed the X500 Series for a September 2026 launch in China. If you need a phone now, the X300 family remains the current released generation. It has known pricing, real retail availability and fully published specifications, which makes it a much safer comparison than relying on leaked X500 details.

Anyone shopping outside China should also avoid assuming the Chinese launch price or configuration will match their local market. Storage options, software, bands, bundled accessories and pricing can differ between regions, so the useful time to make a purchase comparison will be after vivo publishes local product pages.

Buy something else now if you need a phone immediately, need a confirmed international warranty, or want to compare exact prices today. The X500 Series is announced but not yet released, and the missing details are the ones that matter most at checkout.
