Epson LE-C1 Series is the company's first all-in-one direct-view LED display family, built for organizations that need a very large, bright indoor screen without using projection. The range combines chip-on-board LED technology with preassembled components and an operating system-free design, making it especially relevant to corporate meeting spaces, higher education, auditoriums and other professional AV environments.

What models are in the Epson LE-C1 Series?

The current family has three models. LE-C1135 is a 135-inch Full HD display, LE-C1162 increases the canvas to 162 inches while retaining Full HD resolution, and LE-C14K135 combines a 135-inch screen with 4K UHD resolution. All three use direct-view LED rather than a projector and screen, so buyers should treat the range as a permanent large-format display platform.

Where does LE-C1 fit beside Epson projectors?

LE-C1 complements Epson's projector catalogue rather than replacing it. Its 600-nit direct-view image is intended for indoor spaces where ambient light, always-on presentation use and a fixed display installation matter. Projection can still be the better route when a buyer needs a much larger image, more flexible image sizing or a lower equipment cost for a given diagonal size.

What makes installation different from modular dvLED?

Epson ships the system around preassembled cabinet columns, factory-aligned and calibrated LED modules, and a preconfigured controller. A projector is worth comparing when the room needs an image larger than 162 inches, when display size must change for different events, or when the budget cannot support a large direct-view LED installation.
