About Lenovo Legion and Yoga
Legion and Yoga are Lenovo brands. Their parent, Lenovo Group Limited, is a public company listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong under stock code 992.
Legion is Lenovo's gaming range. Yoga is its premium consumer range of laptops, 2-in-1s, all-in-one PCs and tablets. Brandligo groups the two on one page, along with Lenovo Tab, the everyday Android tablets.
Where it stops: ThinkPad business laptops, IdeaPad everyday laptops, LOQ starter gaming PCs and Motorola phones are separate Lenovo brands.
Who owns Lenovo?
Its shareholders. Lenovo Group Limited is a public company, and its annual report says it's listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong as HKSE: 992. There's an RMB counter too (80992), and its ADRs trade under LNVGY.
Lenovo traces its story to a room in Beijing in 1984. It operated under the name Legend before rebranding as Lenovo in 2003.
It's a big business. Lenovo reported record revenue of US$83.1 billion for the year to March 31, 2026, its first year above US$80 billion.
Legion and Yoga aren't separate companies. They're product brands made and sold by Lenovo.
What are Lenovo's brands?
They split by job. On Brandligo you'll find ThinkPad and Motorola next to this page. ThinkPad is the business laptop line Lenovo got with IBM's PC division in 2005. Motorola is the phone brand, bought from Google in 2014.
Legion covers gaming. Yoga covers premium consumer PCs and tablets.
Lenovo.com adds a few more names: IdeaPad for everyday laptops, ThinkBook for professionals on the go, and LOQ for new gamers.
Inside the company, these devices sit in the Intelligent Devices Group, which covers PCs, tablets, smartphones and other smart devices. Servers and storage live in a separate Infrastructure Solutions Group.
What does Lenovo Legion cover?
Gaming hardware, top to bottom. Lenovo's Legion page lists Legion Pro laptops, which it pitches as desktop replacements for esports players, and the thinner, lighter Legion Series laptops.
Then come Legion Tower desktops, Legion Go handhelds, Legion Tab gaming tablets, Legion monitors and Legion Glasses for AR, plus headsets, keyboards, mice and backpacks.
Legion Space ties it together. It's Lenovo's gaming hub app, with a game store, a gaming zone and device management.
One handheld detail matters. Legion Go comes in Windows versions and in versions powered by SteamOS, so check which one you're getting.
What does Lenovo Yoga cover?
Premium laptops and PCs for home and creative work. Lenovo lists Yoga Pro, Yoga Slim, Yoga Book, 2-in-1 convertibles and Yoga All-in-One desktops, and sells the range on OLED displays, 360-degree designs and AI features for creators.
Don't assume every Yoga folds back into a tablet. The 2-in-1 models are one part of the range, not all of it.
There are Yoga tablets too. Lenovo's tablet page lists a Yoga Tab Series next to its Tab M and Tab P Android tablets.
The name has carried firsts before. Lenovo's history page says the Yoga 5G of 2020 was the world's first PC with 5G connectivity.
How are Legion and Yoga different from ThinkPad and IdeaPad?
It comes down to who's buying and why. ThinkPad is for business. Lenovo says every ThinkPad is built for reliability, security and long-term performance, to keep teams productive.
IdeaPad is the everyday line. Lenovo pitches it at work, play, study and creating, sells it on value, and splits it into Pro, Slim, 2-in-1 and Vibe models.
Legion is for serious gaming. LOQ is the way in: Lenovo made it for new and future gamers, inspired by Legion, so they can get a gaming PC without breaking the bank.
Yoga is the premium consumer pick, aimed at creators who want an OLED screen and a slim design.
Where does Lenovo Tab fit?
Brandligo files Lenovo's Android tablets on this page. On lenovo.com they split three ways. The Tab M Series is for budget-minded people who mostly want everyday tasks and entertainment. The Tab P Series has more power for demanding apps. The Yoga Tab Series is the one Lenovo sells on design.
Gamers get their own option: Legion Tab, which Lenovo calls a true gaming tablet.
You'll also see Lenovo tablets outside lenovo.com. Motorola's US site sells the Lenovo Tab Plus next to its own moto pad.
What should you check before buying or partnering?
Check the brand on the box, not just the Lenovo logo. Legion and LOQ look alike (they even share a stylized O in their logos), and Yoga and IdeaPad both sell 2-in-1s.
Check the generation. Lenovo labels many models by Gen, like Legion Go Gen 2 and Legion Tab Gen 5.
Check the operating system on handhelds: Windows or SteamOS.
Buying for a company? Legion and Yoga are consumer lines. ThinkPad is the range Lenovo builds for business teams.
Partnering or reselling? Legion and Yoga are Lenovo product brands, so the relationship runs through Lenovo.
