About Kira Community

Kira Community is the public sharing and discovery layer inside Kira.art. It turns generated images and videos into profile-based moments that can be captioned, organized with hashtags and discovered through topic feeds.

The service connects creation and distribution inside one account. A user can make an image or video in Kira, publish it to a profile and place it into a public theme without exporting the file to another social platform first. Participation is optional, and work that remains private is not added to the public community.

What does Kira Community include?

Kira Community provides creator profiles, public moments, captions, hashtags and discovery feeds.

A moment is a finished creation selected for public sharing. It appears on the creator's profile and can be associated with themes such as portraits, travel, fitness, pets or seasonal ideas.

Hashtags organize related work into topic feeds. This lets users browse a subject intentionally instead of relying only on one general recommendation feed.

The community experience sits beside the Kira editor. Creators can move from generation to publication within the same service, while viewers can open an idea and use it as inspiration for their own work.

How do profiles and hashtags work?

Each creator profile acts as a public collection of shared moments. A caption can explain the idea, process or context behind a creation.

Hashtags connect a moment to a theme. A single creation can participate in a wider visual conversation, allowing people interested in that theme to discover both the work and its creator.

Kira also runs guided activities around selected tags. These activities can include a creative prompt, several steps or themed examples. Some activities offer credits or other participation rewards.

Users should choose tags that accurately describe the work. Excessive or unrelated tags make topic feeds less useful and can reduce the quality of discovery.

Who can see published creations?

Creations remain private until a user chooses to publish them to a public surface.

Once published, a moment and its associated username or social handle can be viewed by other users, search engines and third parties. Public content may be copied or reshared by people outside the service.

Kira can display public creations on discovery pages, social channels and marketing material with attribution. The user can remove a creation from surfaces under their control and request that Kira stop featuring previously selected work.

Creators should avoid publishing personal, confidential or copyrighted material they do not have permission to share. Removing a post from Kira cannot guarantee removal of copies already saved or redistributed elsewhere.

Does Kira Community cost extra?

Kira Community is part of the wider Kira.art service rather than a separate standalone subscription.

Kira.art has a free tier and paid Basic, Pro and Max plans. Generating or editing content consumes credits according to the selected model and action. Community publishing itself is tied to the account and the creation workflow.

Basic includes 1,000 monthly credits, Pro includes 2,000 monthly credits and Max includes 6,000 monthly credits. Annual plans allocate 12,000, 24,000 and 72,000 credits respectively.

Plan information was checked on August 28, 2026. Subscription prices and credit costs can vary, so users should review the current checkout information before upgrading. Some community activities may provide promotional credits, but those rewards should not be treated as a permanent plan entitlement.

Privacy and content rights

Users retain ownership of the content they upload and generate, subject to the rights of any source material and the terms of the underlying AI providers.

Publishing adds a limited license that allows Kira to reproduce, distribute and display the public creation with attribution. Kira can also create thumbnails, previews and adapted versions for community and promotional display.

Private content is not covered by the additional public-content permission. However, prompts and uploads used for generation may still pass through third-party AI providers as part of creating the output.

Accounts use Google sign-in. Kira stores account details, generation history, content and service activity needed to operate the platform. Users closing an account can expect personal information and content to be deleted or anonymized within 30 days, except where legal retention duties apply.

Team behind Kira Community

Owen Chen founded Kira and leads the direction of Kira Community.

The broader Kira Art team includes Leila Lei and Kyro Wu. Their work covers the creative editor, profiles, content publishing, topic discovery and the infrastructure behind image and video generation.

Kira Community marks a shift from a private creative utility toward a combined creation and sharing environment. That direction requires the team to manage not only generation quality but also moderation, privacy, discovery quality and user safety.

Who is Kira Community for?

Kira Community is intended for people who already create with Kira.art and want an audience for selected work.

Casual creators can collect favorite images on a profile. Social content makers can explore themes and see how others approach the same idea. New users can browse public moments for inspiration before creating their first piece.

The service is most useful when generation and sharing belong to the same personal workflow. Someone who only needs private image editing can continue using Kira without publishing moments.

Who should choose something else?

Creators seeking a large established audience may still prefer Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Behance or another mature network. Kira Community is narrower and centered on work created within Kira.

Professional teams requiring private review rooms, client approvals, asset libraries and enterprise permissions should use a collaboration or digital asset management platform designed for those tasks.

Photographers and artists who want a portfolio under their own domain may prefer a dedicated website builder. Community profiles are convenient for discovery but provide less ownership over layout, navigation and audience relationships.

Parents and younger users should review age rules and public-sharing risks carefully. Teenagers may use the service only with the required parental or guardian consent, and public profiles should not reveal sensitive personal information.
