# Everything You Need to Know About Intel Arc B-Series Graphics Cards

Intel’s new Arc B-Series graphics cards, the B580 and B570, offer competitive pricing and strong performance. The B580 comes with 12GB of VRAM and is priced at $248, while the B570 has 10GB of VRAM and costs $219. Both cards target [gamers](https://brandligo.com/xbox-games-coming-to-android-app-next-month/) but are also designed to enhance [AI](https://brandligo.com/take-two-ceo-says-ai-wont-make-gta-6-develop-faster/) workloads.

The new GPUs feature Intel’s second-generation Xe-cores, providing improved performance for gaming and tasks like AI acceleration. These cores support advanced ray tracing, better mesh shading, and key graphics functions, boosting overall performance. Intel’s XeSS 2 technology adds AI-based upscaling, frame generation, and low-latency features, increasing frame rates by up to 3.9 times for smoother gameplay in demanding games.

Compared to the previous generation, these GPUs are 70% more efficient per Xe-core and 50% more efficient per watt. The B580 GPU is 24% faster at 1440p than its predecessor, the Intel Arc A750, with some games running up to 78% faster. When compared to competitors, the B580 offers up to 32% better performance per dollar.

The Arc B580 will be available from December 13, 2024, priced at $249, while the B570 will be released on January 16, 2025, starting at $219.
