It combines the SEO Toolkit with the AI Visibility Toolkit so marketers can research keywords and competitors, audit websites, track rankings, and also measure brand mentions, citations, sentiment and prompt-level visibility across AI discovery systems. What is Semrush One?

Semrush One is a bundled subscription rather than a separate standalone tool. It brings together Semrush's traditional SEO capabilities and its AI Visibility capabilities under one plan. The practical benefit is that teams can compare performance across Google search and AI-generated answers without managing two separate subscriptions or disconnected reporting workflows.

What does Semrush One include?

The SEO side covers keyword research, competitor analysis, rank tracking, backlink research, site auditing and related optimization workflows. The AI Visibility side adds brand-performance analysis, prompt tracking, AI mentions, citations, sentiment and visibility monitoring across platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI search experiences. Higher tiers increase site, keyword and prompt limits and add capabilities such as historical data, broader tracking, share of voice and API access.

Who is Semrush One for?

Semrush One is aimed at SEO teams, content marketers, agencies and brands whose search strategy now spans both conventional search engines and AI answer platforms. It is especially useful when the same team owns keyword performance, content optimization, technical SEO and generative-search visibility. An organization focused only on classic SEO may not need the AI bundle and could be better served by the standalone SEO Toolkit.

How much does Semrush One cost?

Pricing checked on August 21, 2026. The Starter plan is $199 per month on monthly billing or an equivalent $165.17 per month when billed annually. Pro+ is $299 per month, or $248.17 per month on annual billing. Advanced is $549 per month, or $455.67 per month on annual billing. Annual subscriptions are paid upfront. A free Semrush plan also exists with limited reports and AI Visibility access, while enterprise pricing is custom.

What are the main plan differences?

Starter supports five websites, 500 tracked keywords per day, 50 tracked AI prompts, one domain for AI brand performance and 300 AI visibility reports per day. Pro+ increases monitoring to 15 websites, 1,500 keywords and 100 prompts and adds historical SEO data, content optimization, keyword cannibalization analysis and multi-location or device tracking. Advanced supports up to 40 websites, 5,000 keywords and 200 prompts and adds SEO share of voice and API data integration.

How does Semrush One handle AI visibility?

Semrush One tracks how brands appear in AI-generated discovery. Its reporting can surface mentions, cited pages, visibility scores, sentiment and competitive differences across major AI platforms. This is useful for identifying whether a brand is being referenced and which topics or sources influence that visibility. These metrics should not be treated as direct revenue metrics: buyers still need to connect visibility trends to traffic, engagement, leads and conversions.

How does it support traditional SEO?

The SEO Toolkit inside Semrush One provides established workflows for keyword research, competitor analysis, backlinks, Position Tracking and Site Audit. This means a team can use the same subscription for technical checks, ranking analysis and search-demand research while also monitoring AI discovery. For many teams, that shared data model is the main reason to choose the bundle over assembling separate point solutions.

What are the main limitations?

Semrush One is not inexpensive, especially once teams add users or need higher tracking limits. Additional users start at separate monthly charges, and AI-related access can create extra per-user costs depending on configuration. The platform also has many reports and concepts, so smaller teams may face a steeper learning curve than with a focused SEO tool. AI visibility data is still an evolving measurement category, so teams should avoid overreacting to short-term changes in mentions or prompt rankings.

How does Semrush One differ from the SEO Toolkit?

The standalone SEO Toolkit focuses primarily on classic search workflows such as keyword research, rankings, backlinks, competitors and site auditing. Semrush One includes those SEO capabilities but adds deeper AI Visibility features such as prompt tracking, brand-performance reporting and broader AI mention and citation analysis. If AI discovery is a strategic priority, Semrush One is the more complete package. If not, the SEO Toolkit can be a lower-cost option.

What should buyers compare before choosing it?

Compare the number of sites, keywords and prompts you need to track, whether historical data or API access is required, how many people need seats, and whether AI visibility belongs in your team's day-to-day workflow. Also compare Semrush One with combinations of specialist tools. Ahrefs may be stronger for teams centered on backlink and SEO research, SE Ranking may suit budget-conscious agencies, and Similarweb may be preferable when market and traffic intelligence matters more than SEO execution.

Who should consider another option?

Choose another product if your needs are narrow. A freelancer who only needs basic keyword research and rank tracking may not need the bundle. A team focused almost entirely on backlinks may prefer Ahrefs. A company primarily interested in digital market sizing may prefer Similarweb. Semrush One makes the most sense when traditional SEO and AI visibility need to be managed together and the team will use the broader dataset regularly.
